Two vital books for these times…
- George Monbiot – ‘Regenesis’
- Jason Hikel – ‘Less Is More’
- victoriahume.com – ‘Radical Abundance’
Victoria has written an exceptionally beautiful album, ‘Radical Abundance’, inspired by the ideas in Jason Hickel’s book ‘Less Is More’. I’m really proud to be playing on this, & I tried very hard to play less, but sometimes more notes just came out! - www.worldlandtrust.org Sir David Attenborough thinks a donation to the world land trust is the best way we can help the natural world. (That’s until we realise the ideas in George Monbiot’s book ‘Regenesis’ of course! – see link at top of page)

- I followed Patrick in the role of, ‘bass player to the wonderful saxophonist Bobby Wishart’, when I was 16. Bobby equipped me for a life playing music & gave me some of my most memorable moments. I’m so grateful to him. Bobby would often tell me stories of Patrick’s phenomenal talents, and when Patrick visited Scotland to play I’d always be there, (floating slightly above the ground). We’ve been friends for a long time, but I was incredibly honoured & thrilled recently when Patrick asked me to play on a beautiful tune of his. It’s Patrick’s tribute to Bobby Wishart, ‘To Bobby From A Friend’… to hear the tune & for an explanation of the songs title, visit Patrick’s website.
